Irish Radio DJ’s Twitter War With James Arthur

4FM Presenter Niall Boylan has gotten involved in a twitter war with XFactor winner James Arthur.  News broke earlier today that James had been dropped by his record label Syco after using the lyrics “I am going to blow your family up like I am a terrorist”.  According to insiders, Simon Cowell feels James has gone too far this time and he won’t allow terrorism to be glorified.

The track entitled “Follow the leader” also features the lyrics “I’m crying over stupid s***, you’re such a f***ing homophobe.  Wish I never let you in.  To think that I was thinking maybe I should let you live”.   James, however, has defended the track saying the lyrics have been taken out of context and they are being sung from the viewpoint of a crazy fan – in the same way Eminem wrote lyrics for the hit “Stan”.  He says he is reciting a story, not glorifying terrorism.

The radio talkshow host tweeted about his disappointment in James’ behaviour, given the fact that he has been given such a massive opportunity as an artist after winning a show like the XFactor and signing a record deal with Syco.  However, his tweet didn’t go down well with James or indeed his fans who’ve become embroiled in a war of words all afternoon with Dubliner Niall.
